We promised the 2012 Randfontein Show was going to be the best one ever and it was! The weather was glorious (just a little rain on one day) and the focus on FUN, FOOD & ENTERTAINMENT attracted visitors from far and wide.

We’ve had so many compliments about the various types of entertainment on every field and many exhibitors are smiling (all the way to the bank!)

The Randfontein Publicity Association, organisers of the Randfontein Show, would like to thank all the sponsors, exhibitors, visitors, show committee members and contractors for their contribution in making the 2012 Show a resounding success.

A special “Thank You” must also go to the Randfontein Local Municipality for their cooperation in preparing the Greenhills Sport Stadium for the big event.

Hosting an event of this magnitude cannot be done without the cooperation and assistance of the Department of Public Safety (Traffic), West Rand Disaster Management, Emergency Services, South African Police Service and Life Robinson Hospital. Their participation is invaluable and we extend our sincerest gratitude to each and every one who supported the Randfontein Show in their official capacity.

The “Green” initiative was well supported and we have already distributed a few hundred trees to various organisations in Randfontein, Toekomsrus and Mohlakeng.
